My local classic rock station was adding music from the 1990s, which included grunge, alternative and mainstream metal. But WOW TBC Gold when they did that , they changed their name to "classic rock" and then changed their name to "rock". The category tag isn't fitting their sound anymore, even when it's still classic rock. They even claimed to be "classic rock" and "90s rock" at one point.
